St. Andrew's Outreach Committee is a dedicated group of people who exists to support people within and outside of the Parish. It's mandate is:
To coordinate and provide support initiatives for outreach to those in need both within and outside of the Parish. We welcome all those who in living out their faith have a passion for helping others, forming partnerships and empowering others to help themselves.
We carry this out:
1. By communication
2. By fundraising
3. By promotion
4. By member involvement.
The committee is co-chaired by Lystra Henry. This committee helps us to look beyond our own needs and concerns.
PWRDF stands for Primate's World Relief and Development Fund. It is the Anglican way of reaching out to the Third World, to the poor and destitute at home and around the globe, and to those affected by crisis and natural disaster. Supporting the PWRDF is good outreach.
The Outreach committee of St. Andrew's hosts an annual senior's Eucharist and Tea.
